TWIN CHAIR

The Twin Chair is a chair for twins, with a place to lounge and a place to lean. My experience informed the design; my twin sister and i have always been in fluctuation, seeking a balance, but in the end find comfort in our duality.

The materials of the chair come from severing three abandoned pieces of “street” furniture. These were once used for different functions (outdoor, office, dining). The Twin Chair retains the essence of these parts and plays off the visual language of their junction. The upholstery is hand-carved and wrapped in corduroy.
